Haverford Township, home to over 50,000 residents, encompasses all of Havertown and parts of Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Ardmore, and Wynnewood. Ideally located just 6 miles from Philadelphia’s Center City and 7 miles from King of Prussia, Haverford Township is home to (or just miles away from) some of the region’s top colleges and universities. Covering over 10 square miles, Haverford boasts more than 30 parks, providing plenty of green space and recreational amenities for its residents to enjoy.
For governance purposes, the township is divided into 9 wards. Each ward elects, and is represented by, a Township Commissioner. Township Commissioners serve a 4-year term. Click here for a map of Haverford Township's wards, or visit this page to learn more about the Board of Commissioners.
